Vintage Art Deco Pearl & Gold Brooch - suspected 10k Gold unmarked or hidden under pinning
From estate auction - old but not sure how old - maybe 1930s-1940s or older.
split pearl, rest is gold, unique floral design.
The pinning part on the back was a bit loose from being mixed into a jewelry box for decades so on the pin part it was a bit wobbly, so it was hot glued with a dab to reinforce it to prevent it from further loosening but for a jeweler to tighten it , the glue could be removed.
Price reflects discount for the defect. Look at the pictures , there is no visible difference where the glue was applied.
The design of this piece is very detailed and well made.
This is a very unique piece and similar have sold for over $900 and are still selling for even more as they are very hard to come by.
