Oak Last Rites Viaticum Cabinet. From late 19th to early 20th Century. Shadow box figure of Mary and Jesus. Bottom of cabinet opens. Measures 23" x 13" x 4.5"
The cabinet is in fairly good condition considering its' age..The wood on the front side of the cabinet is in good condition, but there are small marks on the wood that look like paint streaks. I have not tried to get them off. There are scrapes in the wood on the sides. The paper backing on the back and sides is in poor condition. There is a small hole in paper lining in the upper right corner of the cabinet and a few small surface scratches on the glass.
