Stunning Mexican Silver Art Moderne brooch with huge blue glass stone. An incredibly rare piece; very hard to find, especially in this condition.
This was expensive when made, and it has increased in value over time. This huge vintage brooch is a show stopper, and would make any fashionable outfit even more amazing.
This is entirely hand-constructed, and the piece is plated in rose gold. There is some wear, but we do not polish vintage Mexican silver. Even with an uneven plating, it is an amazing piece.
The blue rhinestone is of the highest quality, and has no chips at all. It looks like it was hardly ever worn. The color of the stone is mesmerizing. plating has some unevenness, but its a very rare rose gold.
No chips or bites on the blue stone. It is in really good shape. is a double 'C' clasp, (not safety) and appears to also be handmade. All parts are tight, pin back moves easily.
The brooch measures 4" tall by 2" wide, the center stone is 1 x 3/4", a big, beautiful piece.
