These denim waist overalls were born under wartime material shortages during World War II, under government control. The rivets on the coin pocket opening and the bar tacks on the hip pockets, which were present on previous models, were omitted.
"FOR THE DURATION" on the flasher means "for the duration of the war," indicating the specification changes due to material control until the end of the war. In the 1940s, the US government presented an E-pennant, meaning "Excellent," to companies that produced excellent military supplies. Buzz Rickson's, which served as a flight jacket contractor during the war, has realized a dream flasher, having received the E-pennant.
Details:
Iron, arabesque pattern donut buttons. Rivets on the coin pocket are omitted due to wartime material control. The label, which shrinks significantly when heated, requires careful handling. Original selvedge denim is used. The back yoke has a difference in height between the left and right sides, giving it a rich texture. Olive-colored herringbone twill is used. You can see the selvedge inside the pockets. The stitching above the hidden rivets is usually a bar tack, but a main seam is a characteristic of the WWII model. The original 13.6oz denim has a rough texture.
