The duck's head and neck form the handle of the brush, which lifts out of the body-shaped holder.  The body is often made from early plastics, bakalite and brush with real hair. It serves as a functional item for removing lint and debris from clothing, as well as a decorative piece.  These brushes were popular in the mid-century period and are now considered collectible vintage items.  Great condition.
