Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late (Sony PlayStation 3, 2015)

“Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late” is a PlayStation 3 fighting game that takes advantage of the two-dimensional style. It draws inspiration from traditional anime artwork. “Under Night In-Birth” takes a stronger focus on story rather than pure arcade fights. Players learn about the powered In-Births and the grotesque Voids while fighting as a high school In-Birth named Hyde. Of course, players can enjoy Arcade mode for a quick burst of gameplay without having to focus on the story. Outside of these modes, “Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late” for PS3 features 16 fighters. The moves that each of these fighters have can be further explored in Survival, Time Attack, and Score Attack modes. There is also an online mode. This game is made to be accessible to everyone. For players who are experienced with fighter games, the gameplay becomes more challenging throughout the course of each mode. However, beginners will be pleased by the simple button system that's easy to learn.
