This beautiful ceramic music box was designed by G.G. Santiago, and she features a mother cat with her kittens and plays a delightful melody from the "Sound of Music" movie, "A few of my favorite things". The intricate details and craftsmanship make it a wonderful addition to any collection of decorative collectibles. Produced in 1989 and has a timeless appeal that will never go out of style. Made in Sri Lanka and originally sold at a True Value hardware store for $44.98, which is around $110.00 in today's dollars. Wind the music box on the bottom and use the lever in the back to turn it on and off.
