This vintage ski sweater is by the Norwegian brand Rogaland Ullvarelag. Made in Stavanger, Norway during the 1970s, it is in excellent vintage condition for its age.
Made of 100% pure virgin wool and completely hand-knitted
As this cardigan is handmade, it is entirely unique and another one exactly like it cannot be found. This particular piece has some of the most traditional and distinctive patterns in Norway. There is the dotted lusekofte design against a blue background, as well as the selburose design which was based on a rose with eight petals but is now most often associated with a snowflake. The buttons are also very intricate, showcasing a viking boat design.
