Issue. A darkened small crimp on the necklace possibly made during the necklace's creation. See 9th and 10th pic, you'll see the area, bottom of the loop , right of the pendant
Necklace is marked 925, and a star ☆ with AR 195 next to it.
After some research that means it (necklace) was made in Arezzo, Italy. Circa 1970s &195 is the jeweler registration number for Carlo Fabbroni of Eurocatene Jewler Co. Registered in 1974
All 3 parts (necklace, bar & encasement) tested positive for solid 925 & 999 silver last pics
